![]() I remember the first time driving to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, my body was overwhelmed with excitement. There was so much buildup for this trip from the countless stories that my friends had told me. As we drove for about 3 hours through the cold, dark desert, I noticed a light cutting directly towards the sky. The beaming spotlight belonged to the pyramid-shaped hotel and casino, The Luxor Las Vegas. As you enter the driveway, you are in awe of the mammoth recreation of the Great Sphinx of Giza. This pyramid reaches a height of 350 feet, and is one of the most distinct structures in the city with more than 4,000 rooms. With over 120,000 sq, ft. of gaming, and two unforgettable nightclubs, LAX and the CatHouse, the fun never stops at the Luxor.
