![]() Described as fierce, fun, and brave—with Billboard magazine comparing her music to that of Britney Spears and Rihanna—this beautiful, edgy siren has been on a steady grind with an ambitious work regimen that requires eight-hour days of rehearsing and perfecting her seductive, choreographed stage show. "I'm working all the time,” Kristine says. “It's all or nothing." All of this hard work is in preparation for the release of her debut album, which has been in the works since early 2009 amid a tight schedule of promoting and performing. This independent artist has surely made a name for herself already with the release of her single, "Always," which landed her a spot on one of New York's top dance stations, PULSE 87.7. Kristine has been busy co-writing and collaborating with the likes of Bad Boy recording artist Red Café, who is featured on the single, "Living Dream," for her new album. The release also features tracks co-written and produced by such artists as Fergie, Eric Pressley, The Pharmacy, Epic, Andrew Fromm, Frankie Storm, Brandon Beal, and The Arsenal. Frankie Strom and Kristine co-wrote the songs "Let You Know" and "Souvenirs" in particular, with a sexy, seductive video for each showing off some of the choreography Kristine has been perfecting with choreographer Kevin Maher. With hot club tracks like these, one can easily imagine how promising the near future will be for this budding star. During our interview, Kristine expressed much appreciation for the support that her family has given her along the way: "The support I've grown up with in my family has been there ever since I was little. My family is my life." When asked what she hopes people will take away from her music and her stage show, she said that she hoped that people would be inspired. "I want people to know that they can do anything they put their minds to. It's just persistence at the end of the day." Photograph by: Bradford Rogne Photography |
