In a city that never sleeps and many legendary entertainers have called home, there is one that stands alone, Elvis Presley. Viva Elvis, the newest Cirque du Soleil masterpiece, located in the Aria Resort Hotel and Casino, takes you through a breath-taking journey of the "King of Rock and Roll's" life. As if you had stepped into a time machine, Elvis's voice echos throughout the theater seranading you, leaving you feeling breathless. Viva Elvis embraces some of the most important moments of Elvis's life, recreating them on stage by blending some of his most memorable songs with artistic expressions of air-defying acrobatics and dance numbers that will have you girls wanting to put on your poodle skirts and hit the local swing joint.

The requirements for most clubs are quite simple: First you have your music, then your attractive women and attractive men, then your liquid courage to keep everyone’s “mojo” going all night long, and then your fifty-foot waterfall…WHAT?! This is Las Vegas, people, and out here you must crush the competition with the most outlandish attractions that leave your “clubbers” picking their bottom lips up off the ground. Let’s face it: The club scene is always going to be saturated with beautiful people, and you want them over at your club. What better way to attract these people than to create a remarkable atmosphere in which the great outdoors and the elegance of the interior design are married perfectly, resulting in one of the greatest clubbing experiences? |

This alluring and sultry casino brings a perfect fusion of high-life culture and the “who’s who” feeling directly to the heart of the Vegas strip. Conveniently set in the epicenter of the hustle and bustle of the city, Planet Hollywood is located where you really want to be.
Along with a prime location and a variety of shops, the casino provides some of the most recognizable restaurants associated with the stars of Hollywood, such as Pink’s Hotdogs, a personal favorite of mine. And while giving their customers some of the familiar tastes of a hometown meal, these restaurants really do make you feel as if you’re rubbing elbows with celebrities, or at least in an environment where such things could happen.

Here we go again. Our taste-testing team was given the grueling task of sampling some “casual” Mexican food at the legendary Hussong’s Cantina, located in the shopping area of The Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. Finally a restaurant that sets itself apart from the competition, for where else can you find a place with an atmosphere that warms you to the bone as much as its food? With such a great display of character from the staff, able to adapt to the customer’s every need, it is safe to say that in reference to Hussong’s, “A family that works well together stays together.” With an array of different appetizers and distinctive main courses, you will find yourself hoping that the meal will never end. Between Chef Noe Alcala and his staff serving great meals and the Mariachi band playing for the crowd, Hussong’s strikes a good balance between food and entertainment

It took us by surprise how fantastic the food tasted at Dos Caminos. Located in the Palazzo Las Vegas, this Mexican restaurant features cuisine that is at the top of our list of reasons why we love this resort hotel and casino. The restaurant offers many choices, including signature dishes such as Grilled and Marinated Skirt Steak with Frijoles Borrachos, Chilean Sea Bass Veracruzano, and Lamb Shank Barbacoa. Dos Caminos is also known for its brunch menu, which includes the Mexican Benedict and Dos Caminos Rancheros. The mere taste of this establishment’s tortilla chips and salsa will foreshadow that of the excellent-quality food being prepared for your table. And in the end, the made-to-order guacamole said it all.
